| Relay For Life |

 This year the relay will be May 16th at 7:00 p.m. at North Bullitt High School. The entire relay theme is Disney, so we will probably utilize my Nightmare Before Christmas collection and have a site theme of fighting the nightmare of cancer. This will allow us to participate in the theme without spending any money. We may even have a new camper to use on the site!
Anyone wishing to be a team member needs to raise at least $10 to be turned in the Tuesday before the Relay. I need to know by MARCH 31 if you would like to sign up because that is the Tshirt order deadline. You would not need to spend the whole night to be on the team. Some people just turn in money even if they can't come at all. We need at least 8 people to have a team.

| Used Book Sale |
|
On April 27th I will be hosting the Used Book Sale on behalf of the Mt. Washington United Methodist Church Relay of Life team, outside of Value Market in Mt. Washington from 12:00pm-4:00pm. All the money raised from this sale will go toward Relay for Life. I am still taking donations of books and all donations are greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please call me............

| Servants Weekend |

| The College Age Ministry young adults will be having a service weekend in April. If you'd like someone to do yardwork, cleaning or just visit awhile, please contact Becky Keown or any of the Collage Age Ministry Group. |

| High Heels in Hihg Places |
|
88.5 WJIE would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to our upcoming Women’s Conference, "High Heels in High Places." We would love for you and/or your women’s ministry to join us for a fun-filled day just for the girls! The conference will be held at the Paroquet Springs Conference Center in Shepherdsville from 9am-4pm on Sat. June 28. Registration forms are on the bulletin board in Fellowship Hall. |

| Relay for Life Back Sale |

Bake sale, name your own price, proceeds all go the American Cancer Society...scheduled for April 20. Get out your favorite recipe and/or come hungry for goodies that Sunday! This will also be the kickoff date for the penny war. It's men against the women, the losers fix breakfast for the winners. Pennies count as 10 points and other money counts against you. We've had alot of fun with this in the past and you definately get to see a different side of some of our church brothers and sisters! |

| Celebrating 100 years of Living!!! |

 We are looking for photos of Lida Stansbury that will be used in the celebration of her 100 years of living on June 1....... from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the church. If you have those that you are willing to share, please leave at the church officwe by April 20. Put your name and address on them so that they can be returned to you. Also, a special publication will feature special memories of her life so if you have any of those that you'd like to share, please write it out and leave it in the office too. The Youth will be having their annual yard sale on Saturday, May 10 during the Spring Festival..........so start rounding up those items you've been waiting to part with and bring them to Fellowship Hall where Kelly Norton wil lcollect them.
