Lord Hear Our Prayer: As Pastor, I want to invite you to prayer as a church. If you want special prayer, please take a scrap piece of paper, make mention of it, (IE. “Pray for my marriage”) and drop it in the offering plate. We will remember you in prayer when we meet each Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m., everyone is welcome to come and join us for this time of prayer.

Mountain Mission: Due to the sale of the building, we will NOT be collecting anything for Mountain Mission until the new storage building is completed.

Campbell Labels: Henderson Settlement has appreciated our collecting of upc bar codes. As of March 4^th they had banked 761,423 points. They are saving for a minivan which requires 1,600,000 points to purchase so please keep bringing those codes. Thank you.

NURSERY: Our Paid Staff Person for the Nursery is Dawn Painter. She is in charge of our nursery. We ask that moms and dads dropping off their children at our nursery not stay in the Nursery unless absolutely necessary or requested by our Nursery Worker. From time to time we might ask for help on busy Sundays. However, for our safe sanctuary practices we ask you to attend worship.

Nursery Needs

As our nursery has beome a very busy place, we are asking for volunteers to sign up on a monthly basis to check with our nursery worker before services and help out if necessary during services. If you are interested, please contact Becky Porter.

Dawn is in need of both AA & C batteries
for some to the musical toys. Also, Cookies for the little ones. Donations can be dropped off
in the nursery or church office.

Weather Policy Update: When schools are closed in Bullitt County all church activities are cancelled. On Sundays, the 10:55 service will NOT be cancelled due to inclement weather and the pastor will decide about early church and Sunday School.

Daily Bread and Upper Room Devotionals are in. You make pick one up in the back of the Sanctuary or down in Fellowship Hall

Do you have medical training? Could you provide minor medical assistance to someone, should they need it? Would you mind being listed as a contact person? If so, would you please let me know?

We would like to develop an "emergency response" list. In the (hopefully, unlikely) event someone should need minor medical assistance while on our church property, we would know who we could call upon (that may also be on the property at that time). A list of medically trained members would be kept in visible locations -- the kitchen, the education office, the youth basement, and in the secretary's office.

Communications Tree: To improve communication Brenda Royal is organizing a phone tree to share the prayer requests, important announcements/reminders, news about deaths and arrangements, etc… that normally come via email. She needs a few “main branches” and lots of “limbs”. These “main branches” will call the list of people who are “limbs”. If you’d like to be on the list, as a branch or a limb, please call Brenda, or Cathy in the church office. Anyone can call Brenda or Cathy with needs and concerns and they will be sure to get the info out to as many as possible.

Ministry Opportunity.....

The 1st Tuesday of each month, a group will be getting together to clean-up/organize various areas of the church that need a little extra care. If you'd like to help out, come on!! Stay as long as you can - every little bit helps!! Be watching for the next clean up day!!
