From Pastor Mark.......

Dear Church Family:

We are now entering a new phase of the life of our church. As you have probably heard, we have recently begun a Scriptural Funding Campaign to help fund our new Church. Our leaders have carefully studied our needs, our resources, and after a vote of our Church in a Charge Conference we are now planning to conduct the financial campaign, secure definite costs and prepare to vote in October’s Charge Conference to sell our existing facility and build a new church building.

Celebration.......Forward in Faith

  By Angi Collins

On September 16th, our church family gathered at Bethel United Methodist Church to take a look at our past, celebrate our present achievements, and look forward to the future.

Everyone had a chance to look at memorabilia from our church’s past, including an antique communion set, old church directories and Sunday School attendance pins. Many people were surprised to learn that the first record of circuit riders preaching in Mt. Washington is from 1837. Our current sanctuary was built in 1919.
